SUB 200 II: A New Light on an Icon
At DOXA, evolution is never about rupture. It’s about nuance, balance, and that quiet confidence that comes from knowing exactly where you stand. The SUB 200 II is no exception. It doesn’t rewrite the codes of the SUB—it refines them, gently but deliberately, introducing a new visual language while staying firmly anchored in the brand’s diving DNA.
Because some icons don’t need to be reinvented. They simply need to be revealed… differently.

A familiar silhouette, a new depth
At first glance, the SUB 200 II is unmistakably part of the family. The proportions, the presence, the clarity—it’s all there. But look closer, and something shifts. For the first time in the permanent SUB collection, DOXA introduces a fumé dial.
A subtle gradient, darkening towards the edges, brings a new sense of depth to the watch. Light plays across the surface, revealing a moiré texture that feels almost alive—never static, always evolving. It’s a quiet transformation, but one that gives the SUB 200 II a more nuanced, contemporary expression.
Available in black, gray, blue, and green, these new tones extend the historic DOXA palette without ever compromising what matters most: legibility. The balance remains. The function stays intact. Only the perception changes.
A bolder current: Redcoral
Then there’s the unexpected.
A fully black DLC-coated version—case, bezel, crown—introduces a new dial color: Redcoral. Deep, dense, and complex, it shifts with the light. Sometimes mineral, almost restrained. Sometimes vibrant, echoing the living intensity of coral reefs beneath the surface.
It’s a bold proposition, but not an extravagant one. The contrast remains purposeful, the readability intact. Even at its most expressive, the SUB 200 II never forgets it is, first and foremost, a tool watch.

When function meets form
The evolution continues on the wrist.
The Milanese mesh bracelet makes a strong return—more than a stylistic nod, it’s a functional choice rooted in diving history. Its finely woven steel construction offers both flexibility and strength, adapting naturally to the wrist. The result is a sensation that’s almost textile in its fluidity, yet unmistakably solid.
Light catches on its surface just as it does on the dial, creating a subtle dialogue between materials.
For a different feel, the SUB 200 II also comes on a newly designed textured Dive Flex rubber strap. Inspired by vintage diving aesthetics, it combines comfort, resilience, and just the right amount of character. Built for action, but equally at ease in everyday life.
Because versatility has always been part of the DOXA way.
A refined presence
The case remains true to the SUB identity, but with a notable refinement: a slimmer profile. At 12.80 mm, the SUB 200 II is leaner, more streamlined, without sacrificing robustness.
Its 44 mm diameter is balanced by compact proportions and short lugs, allowing it to wear closer to a 42 mm watch on the wrist. The result is a presence that feels both assured and comfortable—technical, yet refined.
The unidirectional bezel, now fitted with an aluminum insert, reinforces this balance. Lightweight, resistant, reliable — it does exactly what it’s meant to do, without distraction.

The essence of SUB
At its core, the SUB 200 II remains what it has always been: an accessible expression of DOXA’s dive watch philosophy.
A solid 316L stainless steel case. Water resistance to 200 meters. A domed sapphire crystal. A Swiss automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve. Nothing superfluous. Nothing missing.
Just the essentials—executed with precision.
Diver spirit, urban elegance
What defines the SUB 200 II isn’t just what has changed. It’s how those changes resonate.
A touch more depth. A slightly slimmer line. New textures, new reflections. A watch that feels just as natural beneath the surface as it does above it—moving effortlessly between environments, between uses, between moments.
The SUB 200 II doesn’t seek attention. It rewards attention.
And in that quiet interplay between heritage and evolution, it reveals something new: not a different icon, but the same one—seen in a new light.
